A Night with the Stars, the ancestors, and the elders

The evening will begin with a heart-opening cacao ceremony led by Jessica Ayala, inviting us to connect with the wisdom of the earth and our ancestors, followed by a communal potluck where we’ll share a meal together.

Afterward, we will gather around a healing fire, a symbol of transformation and renewal, for an invocation by Catina Briscoe. 

The night continues in conversation with community elders: Grandmother Redhawk, Black Crow, Sangoma, and Byron Ballard, who will share their insights on healing, ancestral wisdom, and the sacred traditions they carry.

We're excited to offer this event that was born out of the community's desire for connection and guidance. Many have asked, “Who are the elders of our community?” and expressed a longing for a night where we can come together and share in their wisdom. In response, we created this gathering to bridge those seeking connection with the knowledge, stories, and healing energy of our elders. 

As a community, we will cultivate a deeper sense of belonging and reverence for the wisdom that surrounds us.
