MEDICINE WHEEL BUILDING CEREMONY
Join us Saturday, August 22nd 10am-1pm
Our first medicine wheel was built August, 2024 and shortly after was swept away by the flood waters of Helene.
Almost to the day, this August 22nd, we will be rebuilding Medicine Wheel and would love you to join us.
The Medicine Wheel is an sacred symbol used by Native tribes for health, healing, and spiritual guidance. This hands-on event explores the Four Directions—East, South, West, and North—and their connections to various aspects of life, such as stages of life, seasons, elements of nature, and animals.
Together, we will work to create a permanent Medicine Wheel for our community, providing a place for healing and using the wheel as a tool for spiritual guidance. Grandmother Redhawk will lead us, assisted by Black Crow (Sharon Oxendine) and Jessica Ayala.
We will be singing traditional medicine songs. Please bring your own rock—a river rock about the size of two hands—to contribute to the Wheel. Also, bring a chair, water, and a potluck contribution.

Cacao Ceremony
Led by Jessica Ayala and Catina Briscoe, we will place intentions on the altar to be held in prayer by a powerful community, experience vision work with drumming, and receive a gift to use for ritual work at home.
Minimum love offering - $35
$25 if you have attended before & plan to bring your ritual tool.
